Class Features
All of the following are features of the prestige class that represents Galio and plodding strength.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Galio gains no proficiency with weapons nor armor.

Runic Skin (Su)
For every 5 elemental resistance and one bonus to his saves (beyond that given by classes) Galio  increases any damage he deals with spells or class abilities by one.

Resolute Smite (Sp)
At 2nd level, as a standard action, Galio targets a 10’ square within 50’ and enemies therein must make Reflex saving throws.  Failure indicates that they must suffer, for they take 1d6 points of electricity damage (per Galio’s HD) and are slowed to half of their movement speed.  Enemies who successfully save take half damage and are not slowed.  Galio can use this ability once per encounter at 2nd level and twice per encounter at 4th level.

Bulwark (Sp)
At 3rd level, as an immediate action, Galio protects himself or an ally for two turns.  The target gains a +1 gargoyle bonus to AC and saving throws.  For every two points of damage the target takes while Bulwark is active, Galio heals one hp.  The bonus to AC and saving throws increases to +2 at 4th level and +3 at 5th level.  Galio can use this ability once per encounter.

Righteous Gust (Sp)
At 4th level, as a standard action, Galio creates a 10’ wide, 45’ long line that damages enemies (2d6 points of electricity damage per Galio’s class level, reflex save for half) and grants a bonus to allies’ movement speed (+10) until the end of their turn if they are in or step into the area of effect.  Galio can use this ability once per encounter.

Idol of Durand (Su)
Upon reaching 5th level, Galio can, as a standard action, trick opponents into attacking him while he’s solidified.  Enemies within 15’ must succeed with a Will save or be forced to make melee or ranged weapon attacks against Galio.  He takes half damage from all attacks (before his DR and elemental resistances are applied).  Enemies who failed the saving throw are not allowed to move, use special abilities, nor spells until the effect ends.  At the beginning of Galio’s next turn enemies in the area take 2d6 points of bludgeoning damage per attack made against him.  He can be stunned, knocked prone, or forced to move in order to end Idol of Durand’s duration early, however Idol of Durand’s damage still erupts and is based on how many attacks were made against him before the interruption.  Galio can use this ability once per day.
