Evelynn

Evelynn
The Widowmaker

Hit Die
d8

Requirements
To qualify to become the dancing queen that is Evelynn, the character must fulfill all of the following criteria:

Feats: Skill Focus (Stealth), Hellcat Stealth
Spells: Able to cast 2nd level spells.

Class Skills
Acrobatics (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Disable Device (Dex), Disguise (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Perception (Wis), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Sleight of Hand (Dex), Spellcraft (Int), Stealth (Dex), and Swim (Str).

Skill Points at Each Level
4 + Int modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are features of the prestige class that represents Evelynn and her sneaky surprises.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Evelynn gains no proficiency with weapons nor armor.

Shadow Walk (Ex)
Evelynn receives a +10 competence bonus to stealth when not in combat and a bonus to stealth when in combat equal to her class level.

In addition for each hour she spends in stealth, Evelynn regains one spent spell level.  These can be saved up to cast higher level spells, but are lost when she prepares spells (in whatever fashion her casting class uses). This is probably overpowered.  And I predict that this class would be used in one of two ways, to bump up a magus or the like’s melee power, or to make an unstoppable caster. The unstoppable caster concept would need a considerable amount – and therefore a noticeable amount – of downtime to regain spells. However, what I want Evelynn to feel like is a PrC that enhances stealth for anyone.

Hate Spike (Su)
At 2nd level, once per turn as a free action after a successful attack, Evelynn can unleash a 15’ long line of spikes along the ground.  Enemies take her caster stat modifier in damage if they fail a Reflex save (usual DC + her casting stat modifier). The line must include her melee attack target.

Dark Frenzy (Sp)
At 3rd level, as an immediate action, Evelynn frees herself from bondage, similar to a Freedom of Movement spell that lasts until the end of her current turn or the start of her next turn, whichever occurs first.  She can use this ability once per encounter.

Furthermore, as a constant effect (Su), for each spell that she casts that damages to enemies, Evelynn gains a 5’ move speed bonus that can stack with itself up to three times.

Ravage (Ex)
At 4th level, as a standard action, Evelynn makes two attacks vs. a target within her reach.  On the following round she can make an extra attack during a full attack at her full attack bonus.  Evelynn can use this ability once per combat.

Agony’s Embrace (Sp)
Upon reaching 5th level, Evelynn, using a standard action, unleashes a 10’ radius circle of pain within 30’ of her position. Enemies within the area must make a Reflex save (usual DC + her caster stat modifier) or suffer 1d6 points of negative energy damage per her HD and are slowed to half of their movement speed.  Enemies that save successfully take half damage and are not slowed.  For each enemy that takes damage, Evelynn gains her class level in temporary hit points.  These temporary hit points stack with each other, but not with other temporary hit points.  Evelynn can use this ability once per day.
